The anime follows the story of Satoru Mikami who is 37-year-old and is busy living his mundane life as an office worker. The guy is single and has literally no one he can spend his time with. During his work life, he met with his colleague, and all of a sudden, an assailant appears out of nowhere and stabs him, after which he couldn’t survive. He then woke up in a different world after being reincarnated as a slime monster.
The waking up of Mikami in an entirely different world changes him, and he embarks on a new journey. He sets free one of his friends and got some good friends in the journey.
