This process is world wide used process.
What is injection molding?
Injection molding is a process which is commonly used to make plastic products. Several types of plastic products can be molded or can be made in injection molding machines.
Large number of complex shape production is possible within a certain time period, so mostly complex parts are manufactured using this process.
Most automobile parts which are usually made of plastic are manufactured through this molding process.
Most of the time the material that is processed in injection molding are thermoplastics.
Usually thermoplastic machine hydraulic as well as electric both types are available but chosen according to economic condition and as per requirement.
How injection molding process work?
In injection molding four stages which are very important : Clamping, injection, cooling and final stage is ejection which take place at the end.
Injection molding machine has three zones, feed zone in which hopper located, Transition zone is second zone which has reciprocating screw and heaters in which feed raw material melt and forwarded by rotating reciprocating screw, Metering zone in metering zone final step take place reciprocating screw forwarded material injected into the closed mold.
Once molten material is injected through a nozzle into the closed mold it remains for a while in closed mold and once molten material takes shape of mold then cooled and a few minutes later the mold opens and the final shaped product ejects out.
Conclusion
I hope you understand how injection molding machine processworks. If you have any suggestion or query then please leave your comment in below comment section.

FAQ
What is injection molding?
Injection molding is one of the plastic processing method or process which widely used nowadays to manufacture products from plastic material.
What is process of injection molding machine?
In Injection molding machine raw material plastic material fed and it molten and injected into closed mold and cooled and ejected this is process happen in injection molding machine.
Injection molding process steps
Material feeding
Heated and molten
injection
Cooling and it becomes hard so plasticized
Ejection
What is injection Molding technique?
Injection molding is a method to obtain molded products by injecting plastic materials molten by heat into a mold, and then cooling and solidifying them. The method is suitable for the mass production of products with complicated shapes, and takes a large part in the area of plastic processing.
What is injection Molding used for?
Injection Molding (or Molding to use the US spelling), along with extrusion ranks as one of the prime processes for producing plastics articles. It is a fast process and is used to produce large numbers of identical items from high precision engineering components to disposable consumer goods.
What are the 4 stages of injection Molding?
There are four stages in the cycle. These stages are as per below,
1. The clamping,
2. Injection,
3. Cooling and
4. Ejection stages.
What is injection Molding example?
Injection molding is used to create many things such as per below,
– wire spools,
– packaging,
– bottle caps,
– automotive parts and components,
– toys,
– pocket combs,
– some musical instruments (and parts of them),
– one-piece chairs and small tables,
– storage containers,
– mechanical parts (including gears), and
– most other plastic products
Is injection molding easy?
Although the manufacturing of plastic products using an injection mold may seem quite simple at first (the plastic material is injected into a mold, left to cool, then removed when ready) there are however more complex steps involved in order for this seemingly simple process to occur.
What is injection time?
After the melt has been plasticated in the barrel, the injection time is the time it takes the screw to move from the injection start position to the transfer position
