State Bank of India (SBI) has launched its WhatsApp banking service. Such banking services available on WhatsApp will make life easier for users. Because they won’t need to download a new app or visit an ATM to check their account balance. All work will be done through WhatsApp.

Follow these steps to check SBI Bank Account Statement:

Step 1: You have to first register your account for SBI WhatsApp banking services.

Step 2: To register for these services, you need to send “SMS WAREG A/c No” to 917208933148 from your 10 digit mobile number registered with the bank.

Step 3: After completing registration, send ‘Hi‘ to +919022690226.

Step 4: Then, you will receive a message saying “Dear Customer, Welcome to SBI WhatsApp Banking Services”!

Choose any one of the options given below-

  1. Account Balance
  2. Mini Statement
  3. De-register with WhatsApp Banking
  4. You can also write your query to get started.

Step 5: Select the option according to your needs. Type “1” to check your account balance, while type “2” to get a mini statement. Your account balance or mini statement will now be displayed on WhatsApp.

In addition, State Bank of India also offers WhatsApp based services to its credit card users in the name of SBI Card WhatsApp Connect. This service allows SBI credit card customers to check their account summary, reward points, outstanding balance, card payments etc.
